C. F. Delamarche (1740 - 1817) took over the workshop of Jean Fortin in 1795 and produced there over the years a large amount of different astronomical models. He was later joined by his son Felix Delamarche (1817-1848).
Many of the Delamarche models are made of wood and paper only and rumour has it that there has been quite a few forgieries made and sold during the past 20 years.
The Delamarche woorkshop didnt sign or date all of their models, in some cases old stock, pre 1770, globe-gores has been used on globes made well after 1820.
The firm continued its buisness well into the 1890's, then under the name of Maison Delamarche at rue Serpente 25 in Paris.
