| GEORGE PHILIP & SON LOCATION London. England. HISTORY George Philip started out in Liverpool as a publischer of geographical material and globemaker in 1834. He was joined by his son in 1848 and the firm moved to London in 1856. The firm specialised in educational atlases, globes, astronomical models and various scientific instruments. The firm was active long into the 20th Century.
