A most probably unique set of 18 stereoviews from the Yerkes Observatory, in a plain black cardboard box with label, Photographs - Yerkes.
Mounts are plain grey cardboard and each view is described on handwritten label on verso.
Bought these way back in the 1970s from a man whos father had worked on the observatory. Some are dated and my guess is that the set is from around 1910 and most likely made for Yerkes archives.
